I'm a huge fan of Krispy Kreme. We dropped by this location on a Saturday evening, and had acceptable doughnut selection. Not many customers in the store or drive through, but the dining area felt a bit grungy and disorganized. No glazed donuts available. Oddly, we were also interested in a t-shirt for some friends visiting from Asia - this is not a typical item of interest. The store has a nice display section, showing off the 12 or 15 shirts, and a few other knick-knack items. However, inventory was not well managed - only 3 shirts, total. Nothing in the back, said the clerk. If the store is going to make space for the display, it was disappointing that the stock didn't match the promotion - all talk, and no walk. No biggie. We'll be back for the doughnuts!

Nice location going through Clarks area. Clean restrooms and a spotless place. Drive thru and friendly customer. Holidays donuts are out and they are so cute. They have Sugar donuts, which I always have a hard time finding. Red Velvet for the holidays, as well. It's our first time stopping here and I see a few of my Yelp friends have stopped here. This is a regular rest stop for me when I am traveling a far distance and pass by Clarks Summit. Krispy Kreme is right off the highway and always has an open bathroom. It's open from 5:30am - 11pm or midnight daily. The drive thru is open 24hr a day. Today I had the chocolate cake donut which was a little dry. The original glazed was soft and sweet as always. They offer some seasonal drinks such as peppermint infused hot beverages in the winter. The frozen hot chocolate is one of the better ones I have had. The staff are always friendly and of course the service is fast. The donuts still stay fresh for a few days so sometimes I will get their half-dozen deal. The apple filled and raspberry filled donuts are also quite tasty. Of course they taste like the filling comes from some processed jelly, but that is to be expected at $1 a donut.

You may never find a cleaner, more modern, friendlier Krispy Kreme anywhere else. And, this Krispy Kreme has a quick turn-over of customers, so families need not worry about the "rough customers" that hang-out at some doughnut shops. This is an entirely family-friendly location. Additionally, this shop can be very, very busy at times ... even still, I have never seen a shortage of staff or of product. This location is the definition of "well-oiled-machine." This is one of the many gems of Clarks Summit! Stop by and indluge!

This Krispy Kreme donuts is amazing it's superclean the staff is friendly the donuts smell amazing and my daughter totally enjoyed watching the conveyor belt of donuts as we anticipated the amazing taste of our donuts. These donuts are the best

Hmmm This is a bakery location, and you can see the donuts coming out of the donut making machine and down the conveyor belt. Clearly they make the donuts sold around the area. You would think this would lead to fresh donuts for purchase there. Well, it may, but not the one I had. Tasted stale. Sadly I had done "take out" and was not interested in going back to ask for a new one, but I will say, likely wont stop here again, but if I did I'd be sure to ask for one off the belt. That way its fresh for sure.

As someone who's never been to a "real" Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, this was quite the treat. I've had Krispy Kreme doughnuts before in NYC, but I don't think that they were ever freshly made. Being at a real Krispy Kreme, you get to the see the whole process of how they make the doughnuts from begining to end. Plus you get to eat the doughnuts right after it's been made, and while it's still soft and warm on the inside. Next time I'm going upstate, I might just make another stop here.

i have been here a lot and it is always clean. My son loves to watch the doughnuts get made, and nothing beats a fresh hot one. my one complaint is that they don't have something with peanut butter in it. lots of seating and they also have a drive thru. a great place to hangout

On my way back from NYC to Western New York, I intentionally diverted my route to stop at this location. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are one of the best. I was disappointed when I moved and discovered that all locations near us had been closed. I was not disappointed at my stop, and whenever their is a road trip in the direction I will be back.

How excited was I to see a KK Donuts when I was in scranton for a local bowling tournament....very. The light, the donuts that have escaped me since their rapid expansion caused massive store closings...this was mecca. I go get a few donuts with some friends...and they weren't good. Certainly not what I remember, and the service was rude to boot. Do I literally have to ask for a free donut? My coffee was not prepared correctly and the donuts did not taste fresh at all. What's going on here! This is Krispy Kreme Damn it, please for the love of god just make good quality donuts, decent coffee and give people a free donut while waiting!

My wife is a KK freak. She just LOVES their creme filled donuts. However, other than one in Manhattan, there aren't any within about 90 minutes of our home in NE NJ. So, she was quite pleased to see the KK sign on I-81 last week while heading to upstate NY. We stopped there Saturday and picked up a dozen for the trip. It wasn't Hot Light time but the donuts re got were fresh and actually held up for the 2 days we were on the road. We stopped again on the way back for a dozen to bring home.

Good stop at the end of the turnpike, but the donuts seem to be consistently less fresh than every other KK we go to. Coffee is always hot.

We got off the exit to get some gas when my husband saw the Hot sign on in the window and made me drive over there. Glad he did, I love these doughnuts. We can try and stop every time we're on a road trip up that way! Yummy!!
